Well, folks. A lot has happened since the last release of this show… Where do I start? First off, we had a bit of a revolving door situation with editors. For this episode, the number of those is the imposing four! The show now also has a proper TLC. Add this and that, and 95% of the lines are entirely new now. But at least, now you know the project is not dead,  just on life support . Still, we’re restarting it from the first episode. Did Jeremy no Ki with existing decent Russian subs beforehand for sorcery, but then I woke up on the evening of 23.12.2023 and realized I want a Christmas OVA for myself too, so picked up the shortest thing I could find, lol.  Get it on nyaa. Merry Christmas!

The news came as a big surprise, but not an unwelcome one at that, as just the other day, I added this: to the status page  on account of this ova.  The subs are the from our last year's release, translated by me, QCed by Ziusudra. I was originally planning to only do a superficial retiming to WOWmd's new VHS rip, but as it usually happens to me, because I subbed this over a year ago and was already out of the tunnel vision, I managed to find quite a few things I decided to redo or TLC since the sound on the new rip is also much clearer. Plus, tyerggh uploaded the full source manga to Nyaa recently. Other updates to the sub include a couple of lazily typeset lines and the added translation of the only song in the episode - "Toki Shozou's Blues" which is actually quite good.  Boy, I gotta say, I never really had a chance to appreciate how beautiful this show is,...

To put it simply, it was infuriating to me and Ziu that this piece of Nippon ani OVA is still forgotten and obscured. So it'll be forgotten and obscured with v2 subs now.  Video is as crippled as you would expect from a 474x340p VHS rip from ARR.
