Proudly presenting: Pendant. Perfectly mediocre, depressingly ugly. I’ve probably used up a year’s worth stockpile of s-stutters and ellipses… on episode 1 alone. That said, as much as I would’ve liked to relegate “Pendant” to the pile of mid 90s OVAs with the rest of them and move on, episodes 2 & 3… actually surprised me. I simply can’t deny that at least some piece of authors’ soul shines through in this OVA, and they actually tried to put together a plausible, charming, and reasonable story. This barely even qualifies as hentai, and we never see any censoring or stuff that needs censoring. It’s just too bad that the early Digipaint graphics in this is hideous. “Pendant” is not offensive to the senses like “Love² Police” or “Onna Spy Goumon” we’ve done before, but you would scarcely remember any details from it a week later.
