The reason we’re doing this is because ProxyMan shared with us his domesday rips of LDs for these shows, which surpass the existing DVDs in quality.
This torrent includes the original 1991 OVA and the 1995 sequel, but not the 1998 “Dragon Knight 4 (Wheel of Time)” OVA, since ProxyMan doesn’t own the LD for it yet.
For OVA 1, the subtitles and and dub are taken from the DVD rip. The official translation was pretty solid, so I worked from that, retimed and translation-checked it; for the dub, I set the delay to 6.9 seconds in the mkv file properties to match it to the LD video. I also included Ukrainian and Russian subs.

For OVA 2 (Gaiden), I found the translation quality in M74 release (not on nyaa) unsatisfactory, so this is a fresh new translation from Japanese. It seems, Gaiden was never licensed so there’s no dub of any sort, but I did include German and Russian subs from M74’s torrent, though of course, they were made from the old subpar translation and I didn’t make any effort to fix them up, aside from setting up the correct delay.
Muzussawa kindly quality checked OVA 1 just so that she doesn’t have to simulwatch it with unowen (she's a woman btw), and then Collectr of Orphan fansubs did out of curiosity. Paul checked the gaiden.

Apparently, Gaiden was originally released as “15+” version on LD, and later additional explicit scenes were added to make it “18+”, and released on DVD in that form. If that’s true, this version here should be the original edit, though I wouldn’t ever call it 15+ because there’s still plenty of explicit material, several full-blown sex scenes, just no actual genitals, hence no visible censoring (with pixels on the screen etc). In any case, I don’t know if this should be considered a censored or uncensored version, since there’s nothing to censor, and frankly, I don’t care enough to compare it frame-by-frame to the other editions. At least the first OVA is comparatively mild and definitely doesn’t need any censoring.
