Mellow OVA (Joint with Orphan)

Another OVA in my mini-series "Femboycember" that I made up in my head. A follow-up to the fabulous Okama Hakusho, from the same director. 

I bothered to jot down some TL notes for this one: 

Although I did Okama Hakusho a whole year ago, and I am way more experienced now, translating this OVA felt somehow more difficult and suffocating. It's nowhere near as fun, bold and unhinged as Okama Hakusho. To be fair, this quality of being "fun, bold and unhinged" is apparently what everyone involved ended up renouncing and disowning OH for, which I find entirely unfair - it's probably one of the funniest things I've ever translated. That may have something to do with Austin Powers being the linchpin of my cultural development during puberty, though. 

This OVA is also full of inconsistencies. Like the student maligning a stomachache to go look at PE teacher's breast through the shirt, yet turning his eyes away when another hot teacher flashes her pants before him. 

Other mistakes include the factual writing inconsistencies that we took trouble to remove from the final script for you. 

That is not to say it's completely devoid of its own certain charm and style, though.
